The recent incident is going on in Mohali and also the victim was a student of XII. 17-year-old Karanbir was a superb student and had scored ninetieth marks within the pre-board examination. The pressure on his mind was at the amount that once he did not try three queries of three marks within the board test of Physics, he couldn’t bear it. Karanvir went on to require the acute step and hanged himself to death at such atiny low age.
As per TOI, Karanbir was the scholar of Nanak Public faculty, Sector thirty six Chandigarh and was the sole kid of his oldsters.
As per geographic region Times, Karanbir wrote in his suicide note-
“I am sorry as I could not live up to your expectations and for not being able to fulfil your dreams. I love my grandparents the most and please do take good care of them.”
Talking to HT, Karanbir’s father said-
“On our way back from the examination centre, I asked Karan about his performance. When he said he left some questions, I told him that he should practise writing faster.”
His father added-
“I wish I had told him that marks don’t matter to us. The only thing that mattered was seeing his smiling face every morning.”
Reportedly, this is the second death in the Tricity after the start of board exams. A Class X girl in Mullanpur did not want to continue with her studies so she went ahead and consumed poison.
